Is it best approach for create rest api serivices using asp.net core web api?

Hi buddies,

             I'm newbie to the asp.net core web api, entity framework core and azure SQL. We are planing to create rest api using asp.net core web API, entity frame work core and Azure SQL. I'm going to start my project from scratch onward Please ensure anybody whether it'll good approach or not. I've gone through few more best practices but still I don''t have clear idea about it how to manage and create my project with best architecture way by using those technologies. Please let me if know anybody knows and is stable versions for creating rest api services?
