Hi,
I was simply thinking about how I could consequently increase the construct (and form?) of my documents utilizingVisual Studio (2005).
On the off chance that I look into the properties of say C:\Windows\notepad.exe, the Version tab gives "Document variant: 5.1.2600.2180". I might want to get these cool numbers in the form of my dll's as well, not rendition 1.0.0.0, which let be honest is somewhat dull.
I attempted a couple of things, however it doesn't appear to be out-of-box usefulness, or perhaps I'm simply looking in the wrong place (obviously).
I work with fundamentally web projects....
I took a gander at both:
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/dotnet/Auto_Increment_Version.aspx
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/dotnet/build_versioning.aspx
what's more, I couldn't trust it such a great amount of push to accomplish something is standard practice.
Thanks and regards
sireesha.
