ASP .NET Core MVC

Hi,

If I create a MVC core app from the Visual Studio default template, it comes out of the box with Bootstrap. How can I update Bootstrap to the latest version? Am I right to assume that the out of the box default MVC template uses Bower to manages the client side dependencies? Somewhere I was reading that the bower will be gone soon?
