IBM .NET Provider for .NET Core 2.0 -ERROR [42705] [IBM] SQL1013N

I am using IBM.Data.DB2.Core to connect to DB2 database from .Net core 2.0

Below is the code:

using (DB2Connection connection = new DB2Connection(conn))
{
connection.Open();//Below error at this line

}

at IBM.Data.DB2.Core.DB2Connection.get_ServerVersion()
