Hi all,
I currently am an administrator for a small company network. We are working to get NIST 800-171 compliant and adding people to a Windows domain to help with that. I recently added some finance personnel which require the use of QuickBooks. But when added, the QuickBooks application doesn't work inside our domain. I've narrowed the problem down to a DISA STIG template GPO that was implemented prior to me working this project. I believe the STIG was grabbed from here: https://iase.disa.mil/stigs/Pages/index.aspx
But that leads me to my question. I know the issue is a GPO labeled DISA STIG Windows 10 Computer. When I disable this GPO I can open QuickBooks. When I enable it, I can't and get a .Net 1026 error (crashes because of an unhandled exception). I've combed through this very large GPO and am not having any luck finding anything that controls .Net features. Does anybody have any ideas of where to look or settings that could be causing Quickbooks to crash with a .Net error?
I appreciate any help as I've tried Googling this and even talking to Quickbooks and am not having much luck. The GPO is really large and would hate to comb line by line and gpupdate each time to test it out. But that is my next step if I don't have luck here.
