Client wants to build a web service to be hosted on Mac os x - web service needs to autenticate users against active directory.
I suggested client to use asp.net 5.0 web API as i'm #c developer - can some one please confirm this is possible with asp.net 5.0 ?
Also.client is a bit hooked on a node.js solution running on apache server - mainly due to lack of knowlegde with The asp.net 5.0 platform
So here i my question again .
1)Can asp.net 5.0 do The job .
2) do you see any disadvantage taking the node.js solution (i'm thinking The verification against active directory must be harder to In a non .net framework)
Please advice - also if i Got it all Wrong 😀
